Professor Nadia Nurhussein’s book on short list for MAAH Stone Book Award

Professor Nadia Nurhussein of the English Department has had her book, Black Land: Imperial Ethiopianism and African America, selected as a finalist in this year’s MAAH Stone Book Award. This is a prestigious annual $25,000 prize to the author of a stellar non-fiction book focusing on African American history or culture written in a literary style. Winners to be selected in mid-August.
