According to an article published in the Johns Hopkins Student News-Letter, Professor Jeanne-Marie Jackson’s undergraduate course, Advanced Introduction to African Literature, has been named as one of the best undergraduate courses currently offered at Hopkins. The article says of this course, “…the interesting texts by notable authors such as Wole Soyinka, Okot p’Bitek and so many more are just the beginning of what made this course stand out. Jackson’s fun class discussions truly enhance every reading assigned and create a welcoming learning environment.”
This course is one of eight undergraduate courses to be highlighted from the Fall 2020 offerings.
